The funeral for Donna M. Johnson, 63, will be 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 15, 2010, at First Missionary Baptist Church. The Rev. Alfred Baldwin will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Russworm Funeral Home, Enid.
She was born Feb. 10, 1946, in Geary to Essie Richardson and Oscar Davis and died Monday, Jan. 11, 2010, at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center. She attended Douglas School before moving to Enid, where she attended Booker T. Washington High School. She then attended college and received a degree in culinary arts.
She married Charles Simons and later married Lee Gross. She was of the Baptist faith
Surviving are her husband, Lee, of Oklahoma City; four daughters, Yvette "Fran" Davis of Enid, Felicia Johnson of Edmond and Denise Simons Berryman and Mary "Helen" Polly, both of Oklahoma City; siblings, Linda Caldwell of Dover, Debra Clark of Ohio, Bernell Stevenson of Los Angeles, Eric Stevenson of Dover and Valarie Heath; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son
