© Enid Morning News Enid, Oklahoma May 1977 January 27, 1897 ~ May 20, 1977 Mrs Roy [Irene Milam] Jackson, 80, 1108 W. Pine, died Friday morning in a local hospital after a long illness. She was born at Amorita, January 27, 1897, and attended schools in the Byron-Amorita communities. She and Roy Jackson were married August 26, 1917, at Amorita and made their home in Clovis, New Mexico, until 1918. They lived for a while in Canadian, Texas, and Fort Scott, Kansas, before moving to Enid in 1923. Mrs Jackson was a member of first Presbyterian Church and the Order of Eastern Star. She is survived by her husband Roy of the home; a son, Joe of Bisbee, Arizona; four grandchildren; eight great grandchildren. A daughter and a brother preceded her in death. Funeral service for Mrs. Jackson will be at 2 PM Sunday in the Henninger-Allen Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev Monti Caywood and the Rev Harold Caywood officiating. She will be buried in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Those who wish may contribute to the Garfield County Diabetes Association in her memory. The funeral home will serve as custodian of the Memorial fund. |

Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 26, 2024 from 4-5 PM at the funeral home. Bill was born on May 4, 1929 to Robert and Bertha Jackson in Hunter, OK and passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2024 in Oklahoma City. Bill worked for Union Equity Cooperative Exchange for forty-two years, and retired in 1989 as the Executive Director of Interior Elevator Operations. Bill married Donna Rowe in 1950; from this marriage, they had two sons, Terry, and Rodney. Bill and Donna were married almost fifty-three years until her passing in 2002. Bill married Ruth Schultz on January 1, 2005. From this union Ruth blessed him with more family, Dennis and Marilyn Schultz, Bryan and Carol Schultz, all of Pond Creek; Debra Schultz of Enid, Wayne and Beverly Benett of Mounds, OK. Eleven grandchildren and spouses; and eighteen great grandchildren. Bill is survived by his wife, Ruth [Schultz] Jackson; sons, Terry Jackson of Honolulu, HI, Rodney, and Pamela Jackson of Yukon, OK; grandchildren, Matthew Jackson of Mustang, OK and Kristopher Jackson of Dallas, TX, Michael Lamb of Wichita, KS; two great grandchildren. Pastor Ted Kuschel will officiate. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements made by Ladusau-Evans Funeral home. Barbara was born October 9, 1932, near Norris City, Illinois, to Luther E. and Lucille Graves Medlin. She died in Edmond, OK, February 25, 2006. She graduated from Mt. Vernon High School. She is survived by her husband, Joseph "Bud" Jackson of Edmond, OK; daughters, Carol and husband Glenn Peel of Houston, TX, Sheri and husband Lloyd Lewis of Owasso, OK, Kim and husband Scot Holcombe of Bartlesville, OK, Debra and husband Steve Addison of Smyrna, TN, Valerie and Husband Mitch Matt of Kansas City, MO, and Cindy and husband Chris Stinson of Millken, CO; sisters, Bonnie Smith, Linda Mullican, and Donna Clifton; eight grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. |
© Enid News and Eagle Enid, Oklahoma June 4, 2014 1894 ~ 1980 ENID, Oklahoma - Celebration of Life service for Joseph "Bud" Jackson, 79, of Edmond, Okla., formerly of Enid, Okla., will be 2 pm Friday, June 6, 2014, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel, with Mr Mitch Matt officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. Joseph was born December 26, 1934, in Decatur, Ill., the son of Claude and Josephine Ruth Carter Jackson. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was employed by the Dr Pepper and Pepsi Bottling companies for over 35 years. In his later years, he attended and graduated from barber school and was employed by the Wilshire Barber Shop in Oklahoma City. He enjoyed quilting and was an excellent seamstress, woodworking, reading and watching movies. Saturdays were spent with his daughters, eating out and going to a movie. Survivors include two daughters, Debra Addison and her fiancĂ© Bob Semmel of Oklahoma City, Okla., Valerie Matt and her husband Mitch of Kansas City, Mo.; four grandchildren, Joseph, Travis, Nicholas and Benjamin; two sisters, Virginia Roberts of Enid, Okla., and June Fletcher of Hanna City, Ill.; numerous nieces, nephews and his dog, Patches. Joseph was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara; two daughters, Sandra and Cindy; four grandchildren, Jason, Joshua, Jessica and Ryan; his parents; and two sisters, Betty and Sue. © Enid News and Eagle Enid, Oklahoma July 1972 July 17, 1953 ~ July 3, 1972 Roger Lynn Jackson, 18, who was killed in a motorcycle car accident in Wichita Falls TX Monday night, July 3, 1972, will be at 2 pm Friday in the chapel of the Ladusau Evans Funeral Home with Rev T A Chick officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau Evans. He was born on July 17,1953. Airman l Class Jackson attended Enid schools and was graduated from Enid High in 1971. He was a member of the Bible Baptist Church and was stationed at Sheppard Field in Wichita Falls. Jackson was married to the former Sharon Madigan who is hospitalized at Sheppard Field from injuries in the accident. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his parents Mr and Mrs Jerry L. Jackson; two brothers Terry and Michael Jackson; paternal grandparents Mr and Mrs Norman Jackson. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the building fund of Bible Church in Jacksons memory. The church and funeral home will serve as cutiodians of the fund. His body will lie in state at the funeral home prior to services. |

Services are under the direction of Anderson-King Funeral Home. She was born April 15, 1996, at Integris Bass Baptist Health Center, and died April 15, 1996, at the Health Center. She is survived by her parents; grandparents, John and Leticia Hanan and Dwain and Gisele Jackson all of Enid; and Joy and Horold Mayfield. |
