William Jackson May 4, 1929 - September 22, 2024
Funeral services for William "Bill" Franklin Jackson, age 95, of Yukon, formally of Pond Creek, will be 2:00 PM, Friday, September 27, 2024,at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Edmison officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 26, 2024 from 4-5 PM at the funeral home. Service arrangements under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory.
Bill was born on May 4, 1929 to Robert and Bertha Jackson in Hunter, OK and passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2024 in Oklahoma City. Bill worked for Union Equity Cooperative Exchange for forty-two years, and retired in 1989 as the Executive Director of Interior Elevator Operations. Bill married Donna Rowe in 1950; from this marriage, they had two sons, Terry, and Rodney. Bill and Donna were married almost fifty-three years until her passing in 2002. Bill married Ruth Schultz on January 1, 2005. From this union Ruth blessed him with more family, Dennis and Marilyn Schultz, Bryan and Carol Schultz, all of Pond Creek; Debra Schultz of Enid, Wayne and Beverly Benett of Mounds, OK. Eleven grandchildren and spouses; and eighteen great grandchildren.
Bill is survived by his wife, Ruth (Schultz) Jackson; sons, Terry Jackson of Honolulu, HI, Rodney, and Pamela Jackson of Yukon, OK; grandchildren, Matthew Jackson of Mustang, OK and Kristopher Jackson of Dallas, TX, Michael Lamb of Wichita, KS; two great grandchildren. He will be greatly missed at all the family gatherings.
