ENID — The funeral for Douglas "Scott" Hildebrand, 45, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 13, 2011, at New Hope United Methodist Church, with Rev. Sheila Combs-Francis officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, with arrangements by Anderson - Burris Funeral Home.
Scott was born to Roy and Frances Laverne (Moran) Hildebrand on Oct. 14, 1965, in Clinton, and died Friday, April 8, 2011, in Enid.
Scott moved to Enid in 1966, and graduated from Enid High School in 1983. He graduated from Phillips University in 1988 with a degree in finance and accounting.
Scott owned and operated Burger Express for a short time. He also worked as a manager and waiter at various restaurants in Enid. Scott played violin, loved animals and had a great sense of humor.
Scott is survived by his parents, Roy and Laverne Hildebrand of Enid; sister, Vicki Lefler of Enid; two brothers, Dwayne Hildebrand (Wynema) of Norman and Roy Gene Hildebrand (Melody) of Enid; and numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Memorials may be made to New Hope United Methodist Church or SPCA.
