Gone but never forgotten- EHS Class of 1971
The funeral for Richard L. Hernamski, 48, will be at First Baptist Church on Monday, March 26, 2001 at 2:00 P.M. The Rev. Keith Miller will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau Evans Funeral Home. He was born December 12, 1952 in Enid to John and Rae Mc Cormick Hermanski and died Thursday evening March 22, 2001 in his home from an apparent heart attack. He attended school in Enid, graduating from Enid High School in 1971, and from Oklahoma State University in 1975 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Technology. He worked as a logging engineer for Atlas Wireline for 17 years. He joined the City of Enid's engineering department in 1992 as Engineering Project Manager where he was employed at the time of his death.
On August 15, 1975 he married Sharon Booker in the First Baptist Church in Enid. He was a member of First Baptist Church and Meadowlake Golf Assosciation
He is survived by his wife, Sharon of the home; his parents John and Rae Hermanski; two brothers, Steve Hermanski and his children, Rochelle and John Richard; Tom and his wife Ronda Hermanski, all of Enid; his father in law and mother in law Hollis and Jo Lee Booker; a brother in law Kevin Booker and his wife Pam and their son, Kyle, all of Enid.
His grandparents preceded him in death. Memorial contributions may be made through Ladusau Evans Funeral Home or to the First Baptist Church.
