© Enid Morning News Enid, Oklahoma June 1999 September 5, 1912 ~ June 7, 1999 Graveside services for Dan Hamm, 86, of Enid will be 10 AM Thursday, June 10, 1999 in Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev Ted Kuschel officiating. Services are under direction of the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. He was born September 5, 1912 in Corn, Oklahoma to Frank and Susie Regier Hamm and died Monday, June 7, 1999 in University Nursing Home. Dan came to Enid in 1949. He worked for Silvers Auto Parts Supply. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the US Army. Survivors include two brothers, Meno Hamm of Denver, Colorado, John Hamm of San Francisco, California and three nephews, Sherman Hamm, Clayton Hamm and Carlton Hamm all of Enid. He was preceded in death by two brothers. |
© Enid News and Eagle Enid, Oklahoma October 13, 2011 November 4, 1939 ~ October 12, 2011 HILLSDALE — A funeral service for Carol Hamm, 71, of Hillsdale, will be 9 am Saturday, October 15, 2011, in Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel with Rev Gail Edmison officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Carol was born November 4, 1939, in Enid to Aubrey Joseph and Helen Mary [Smith] Conner and died Wednesday, October 12, 2011, in Enid. She graduated from Hillsdale High School in 1957 and married JC Bowen June 16, 1957. They had four children. Carol went to Enid Business School and Enid Beauty College and operated Hillsdale Beauty Barn for 15 years. She later worked as an insurance adjuster for Oklahoma Farmers Union in Enid. She was a homemaker, housewife and a grandmother. She was a member of General Assembly Church of First Born. Carol married Jim Hamm and he preceded her in death. She later married Marvin Hamm; he also preceded her in death. In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by grandson Trever Bowen McBride, her parents and infant brother Paddy. She is survived by her children, Donna Doyle of Enid and Joseph Bowen, Linda Beth Bowen and Jason Bowen, all of Hillsdale; several stepchildren; a brother, James Conner of Texas; two sisters, Martha Charlotte James of Enid and Mary Linda Mossman of Loveland, Ohio; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren. © Enid Morning News Enid, Oklahoma December 1981 July 25, 1981 ~ December 27, 1981 Graveside services for Michael Richard Hamm, five month old son of Richard and Maria Hamm, 1309 N. 19th, will be at 3 PM Tuesday in Memorial Park Cemetery under direction of Henninger-Allen Funeral Home. Michael was born July 25, 1981, in Enid, and died Sunday evening in an Oklahoma City hospital. Besides his parents, Michael is survived by a sister, Rebecca, of the home; paternal grandparents, Mr and Mrs Mervil L. Hamm, Lawton; maternal grandparents, Mr and Mrs Arnold Poechmuller, Lawton. The Rev Lowell Stieferman will be the officiant at the rites. |
