Jane was born in Enid, Oklahoma on April 29, 1954, to blessed parents, Earl and Marie Woodbury.
Jane was a proud Enid High School graduate, Class of 1972. She also attended Southern Nazarene University before marrying and starting her family.
Jane was raised in the Wesleyan and Nazarene churches. She attended University Heights Baptist Church in Stillwater for many years. Her deeply rooted faith was evident in the peaceful way she lived her life and how she compassionately served and loved others.
Jane was a dedicated and tireless nurse for over thirty years. She was honored to care for hundreds of patients and their families across Northern Oklahoma.
Jane had the gift of seeing beauty within everyone she met and quickly made friends with anyone around her. She had a light hearted and funny sense of humor which added an intriguing and special depth to her personality. She had the best laugh. Jane was a beautiful and precious soul. She was quiet and reserved, content to observe and listen, and never comfortable being the center of attention. If you were loved by Jane, you knew how much fun she was and how very deeply she treasured you. No one loved like Jane did. Jane loved planting flowers and tending her garden. She was very fond of Fall and Spring and anticipated those seasons coming back around every year. Jane was also an accomplished and gifted artist. Jane's family and a few close friends are blessed to have pieces of her art in their homes. From stained glass creations to painting, her talents were endless.
Jane loved her family fiercely and unconditionally. She was a proud mother, mother-in-law and Mimi. She treasured the time spent with her small but tight knit family and was absolutely crazy about her three grandchildren. Those left to miss Jane and celebrate her life are her daughter and bookend, Amy Popham and family James and Marossie. Son, Kelly Merrill and family Kristin and Kambry. Son, Andrew Merrill and family Jessica and Lincoln. Sister, Linda Fillwock and family and many cherished friends.
Jane has been reunited in Heaven with her parents Earl and Marie Woodbury, her grandparents and her cherished cat Bella. Memorial donations can be made through the funeral home to Tiny Paws Kitten Rescue located at 901 S. Lowry Street, Stillwater, Ok 74074.
