February 15, 1944 - July 18, 2024

Mass of Christian Burial for Robert Jacob Fuxa, age 80, will be at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, on Tuesday, July 23 at 2:00 PM with burial following in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory.

Robert Jacob Fuxa of Enid died on July 18, 2024. He was born Feb. 15, 1944, in Enid, to Louis and Agnes (Sebranek) Fuxa. Robert graduated from Waukomis High School in 1962, where he excelled at basketball, participated in band as a saxophonist, and served as the FFA vice-president. He received a BS in Animal Science from Oklahoma State University in 1966. While in college he was a member of ROTC. He married Patricia Stone with whom he had four children. He later married Linda Hibbs, in Sept. 2002. He worked as a meat inspector for the USDA and farmed near Bison on the family farms before retiring in Enid. He enjoyed spending time with loved ones, farming, mechanics, playing pool, dancing, and watching Westerns. He was an amazing singer. Robert was a founding member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife Linda of the home; daughter Jane Johnson (Randy) of Enid, son Bryan Fuxa (Rhonda) of Colorado Springs, Bradley Fuxa (Claire) of McKinney, TX, and son Barry Fuxa (Robin) of Stillwater; step-daughter Angela Evans of Tonkawa, step-son Rich Hibbs of Stillwater, step-daughter Brandy Lawrance of Enid; Grandchildren Matthew Johnson, Mark Johnson, Jacob Fuxa, Michael Johnson, Nicholas Fuxa, Brianna Fuxa, Marvin Fuxa, Sarah (Johnson) Biggers, William Fuxa, Emery Fuxa, Carver Fuxa; sister Dolores Cunningham of Enid, and sister Betty Stevens of Bartlesville; and four great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to RSVP of Enid with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory serving as custodians of the funds.
