Verda Evers
May 1, 1919 - December 10, 2011

Funeral services for Verda Maxine Evers, age 92 will be held Thursday, December 15, 2011 at 2:30 pm at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Rev Steve Meier will officiate. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery.

Verda was born May 1, 1919 in Centrahoma, OK, the daughter of Sim M and Iva D Brown Jones and died December 10, 2011.

She was united in marriage to Harold L Evers, August 14, 1959 in Enid, OK.

Mrs Evers enjoyed going to garage sales, collecting antiques, painting by water color, quilting, and bird watching. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Harold of the home, three grandchildren: Ed Chrisman and wife Conny of Tonganoxie, KS, Ron Chrisman of Tonganoxie, KS, Karen Carney and husband Mike of Kansas City, MO; two great grandchildren, Daniel Chrisman of Tonganoxie, KS and Misty Chrisman of Tonganoxie, KS; sister-in-law, Lorlene Patterson of Oklahoma City, OK; sister-in-law Dorothy Masterson of Houston, TX; brother-in-law Lloyd Evers of Honolulu, HI; sister-in-law, Berneice Karner and husband, Harold of Fort Worth, TX; brother-in-law, Paul Evers and wife Sherry of Broken Arrow, OK and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Ottis Jones, one sister, Orene Tanner; one daughter, Beverly Chrisman and son-in-law, Paul Chrisman and one great grandson, William Chrisman.
