William Alfred Dutton, 68, 1421 N. Jackson, died Wednesday at a local hospital. The funeral will be at 2 PM Saturday in the Landusau – Evans Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Roger Ferguson, minister of Trinity Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
He was born March 31, 1919, in Lamont to Claude and Leona Dutton and had been a resident of Enid since 1928. He served in Germany with the U..S. Army during World War I, and was an engineer for the Frisco Railroad for 38 years.
Dutton and Bonnie R. Williamson were married May 7, 1941, in Enid.
He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church, the VFW, the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and was a 32nd degree Mason of Masonic Lodge number 80, AM&FM.
Survivors include a daughter, Deanna Crowl of Enid; a brother, James of Enid; four grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife in 1981 and a brother.
Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association through the funeral home.
