OBITUARY
The funeral for Laveta Elaine Davis, 87, formerly of Enid, will be 2 pm. today at Henninger-Allen Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Terry Chick will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
She was born June 6, 1919, in Alva to Dolly Ray and Louie E. Bindrum and died Tuesday, April 24, 2007, in Oklahoma City. She lived in Alva most of her life, moving to Enid in the 1960s and married Marshall Davis. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church, Enid.
Surviving are two daughters, Marlett “Ann” Johnston and Brenda Kay Knoles; one son, Terry Lynn Harrison; one brother, Charles; two sisters, Betty and Pat; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
