Funeral service for James Roy Crawford will be 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 23, 2015, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor David Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Jim was born Sep. 12, 1944, in Moline, Ill., to James Clinton and Marion “Lucille” (Metz) Crawford and called home to Heaven on Sunday, Feb. 15, 2015.
He attended school in Ark City, Kan., and entered the Navy in 1963.
While stationed in Long Beach, Calif., he met and married Terry Bowling. They settled in Enid, Okla., in 1969, where they raised their five children, though they later separated.
A few years later, he met Vickey O’Neal, and they combined their families with their wedding on July 7, 2007, and enjoyed many happy memories over the last few years of his life.
He had many talents and hobbies, but the greatest of these was music.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one granddaughter, three sisters and three nephews.
He is survived by wife, Vickey; ex-wife and Vickey’s wife-in-law, Terry; daughter, Tani Mahaffey and husband Shawn; daughter, Jamie Foster and husband Tracy; son, Seamus Crawford and wife Erin; daughter, Erin Chappell and husband Kevin; daughter, Rebecca Crawford, all of Enid; daughter, Kristy Price of Welch, Okla.; son, Bill Williams and wife Terrie of Oklahoma City; daughter, Pamela Barton of Mustang; daughter, Johnnie Rust and husband Steve of Enid; daughter, Amanda Pugh and husband James of Enid; daughter, Christy Juttner of Mississippi; 27 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; many beloved nieces and nephews.
