ENID, OK — Funeral service for Cecile “Dolly” Clemens, 69-year-old Enid resident, will be 2 p.m. Monday, March 31, 2014, at Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home. The Rev. Tommy LeGrand will officiate. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Dolly was born Oct. 20, 1944, in Enid, Okla., to Cecil and Jewel (Hite) Garis and died Thursday, March 27, 2014, at The Commons.
She attended local schools and graduated from Enid High School with the class of 1962.
She married Larry Clemens, and the couple made their home in Enid. She was a homemaker and a long-time member of Willow View United Methodist.
She was a member of the “Sunshiners” singing group. She also sat on the board of the railroad committee. She enjoyed cooking (especially brownies) and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children, Lisa Taylor and husband Kihe of Enid; son, Joe and wife Jamie of Oregon; six grandchildren, Kendall Prilliman and wife Angel, Kimberly Hammonds and Rydal Prilliman, all of Enid, Matthew Coleman, Chelsea, and Emily; several great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Greg; and grandson, Nathan.
