Funeral for L.D. Chrisman, 86 years old, a former Enid resident, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2014, in Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. James Bell will officiate. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation for friends and family will be 5-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

L.D. Chrisman was born Oct. 9, 1927, and raised in Enid, Okla., the son of Nova Lee and Ethel (Husted) Chrisman. He died Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2014, at his home in Delaware, Okla.

He married Lois Ann Ferguson Feb. 5, 1955, at Enid.

He worked in water proofing and was a heavy equipment operator, doing construction and demolition in most of Oklahoma.

He was a member of the Church of God in Enid and Nowata.

He was preceded in death by a son, Allen Wayne Chrisman, and wife, Lois Ann Chrisman.

L.D. is survived by one son, Curtis Chrisman of Delaware, Okla.
