The funeral service for Lucille B. Choat, 84-year-old Enid resident, will be 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 28, 2008, at Redeemer Lutheran Church. Christopher Hall, pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home. Lucille was born Nov. 27, 1923, to William G. and Dorothy (Riekenberg) Schroeder in Douglas, OK, and died Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2008, at The Commons.
She married Albert L. Choat in September, 1946. Lucille was a homemaker and worked for Lamberts in the alterations department. Then, for many years, she enjoyed meeting many wonderful people as she did alterations in her own home. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church.
Lucille is survived by daughter, Karen Eisenhart of Gulf Breeze, FL; son, Mike Choate and his wife, Debbie of Enid; grandchildren, Wendy Eisenhart and Chip Eisenhart of Gulf Breeze, FL, Sara Eisenhart of Montgomery, AL, and Lisa Gunnel of Omaha, NE; sister, Erma June Choat and husband, Everett of Enid; nephews, Brad and Gloria Choat and Steve and Jeanne Choat, all of Enid, as well as many other family members.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert, son-in-law, Herb Eisenhart and granddaughter, Kim Millemon. Lucille was loving and kind. She was always ready to be helpful.
