The funeral service celebrating the life of Helen L. Posey Campbell Chisum, 85, Enid, is 11 a.m. today, Sept. 27, 2016, in the Central Christian Church, with the Rev. Dr. Jarrett Banks officiating. Burial follows in Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

Helen was called to heaven on Friday, Sept. 23, 2016. She was born to Howard and Clara Clark Posey of Nash on March 25, 1931.

She was raised in Nash, where she attended school with her siblings, Juanita Packard, Jim Posey, Janice Todd and Bonnie Skaggs.

Helen was a telephone operator in Nash for several years, as well as a homemaker, where she watched children in her home. She married James W. Campbell of Jet and with this union, they had seven children, Ginger Hicks, of Newcastle; Danny Campbell; Debra Seely, of Wichita, Kan.; Glen Campbell; Clark Campbell, of Wichita, Kan.; James Campbell, of Fruit Height, Utah; and Howard Campbell, of Enid. She had eight grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. Helen later married Tony Chisum. This union spanned from 1967 to 1987.

She was preceded in death by husbands, J.W. Campbell; T.J. Chisum; sons, Danny R. Campbell, Glen L. Campbell; great-grandson, Taylor Anstaett; parents; and a sister, Janice Todd.

Helen loved everybody especially children and animals.
