ENID — Memorial service for William “Bill” Case, 78, of Enid, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 9, 2013, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Brad Mendenhall officiating. Cremation arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory.
Bill was born to Otis Winfred and Juanita (Larkins) Case on Sept. 18, 1934, in Dover, Okla., and passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2013, in Enid.
Bill attended school at Enid High, and served in the United States Army.
On July 31, 1960, he married Joyce M. Campbell in Enid.
He served as a deputy with Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Department in Wichita, Kan., and later worked at Bond Bread and Mid Western Life Insurance in Enid.
Bill loved to hunt and fish, and enjoyed dancing.
He is survived by two sons, Stephen Case and wife Melissa, and Frank Case and wife Brandie, all of Enid; seven grandchildren, Jennifer Sorrels, Dylan Freeman, Samantha Roberts, Madeline Turner, Destiny Turner, Juliet Case, and Levi Case; and one sister, Patrica Scheffe and husband Dennis of Enid.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Joyce; son, Daniel; two brothers, Olin Lee and Oren E.; and sister, Nadine Jackson.
Memorials may be made to Hospice Circle of Love or Celebrate Recovery, care of World Harvest Church.
