OBITUARY

Funeral service for Martha Canaday, 90, will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011, at First Assembly of God Church with Pastor Dan Barrick officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery with arrangements by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.

Martha was born to Fred and Mary (Unsell) Frey on April 18, 1921, in Garden City, Kan., and died Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2011, in Enid. Martha grew up on a farm near Dodge City, Kan., and graduated from Dodge City High School. On Nov. 30, 1941, she married Donald C. Canaday in Dodge City, Kan., where they made their home before moving to Enid in 1970.

Martha was a branch manager with Stanley Home Products for 54 years. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church, Enid.

Martha is survived by two daughters, Cindy Fest and husband Gary of Ketchum and Janet Canaday and husband Monty Shaklee of Enid; two grandsons, Rick Tribble and Chris Tribble and wife Lacey; three great-grandchildren, Shelton, Anna and Levi. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald, one brother and four sisters.

Memorials may be made to OMRF, diabetes division.
