Myrl "Dean" Cornforth
January 14, 1948 - December 17, 2024

Myrl Dean Cornforth was born on January 14, 1948, in Enid and entered his final rest on December 17, 2024, in Oklahoma City after a short illness.

Dean grew up in Enid and graduated from Enid High School. He then enlisted and served in the United States Air Force. He married Goldina Kennedy in 1967 and they had two sons, Jamie and Jay. Dean later married Sharon Kay Griffith on June 7, 1977 in Enid and they had two children, Holly and Jacob.

Dean is survived by his sons, Jamie and wife Kim, Jay and wife Misty, Jacob Cornforth and daughter Holly Willson and husband Nate. He also has a sister, Dona Bigler, and brother Dan Cornforth, as well as seven grandsons and numerous great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon, of 47 years and his parents.

Funeral service for Dean will be 2:00 PM Monday December 23, 2024 at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, December 22, 2024, from 3:00 PM-4:00 PM at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home. Memorials may be made through Anderson-Burris to OMRF Pancreatic Cancer.
