A Celebration of Life Service for Louise Coleman, age 84, of North Enid, will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at the Bible Baptist Church, with Rev. Terry Chick officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00-7:00 at the funeral home.
Louise was born August 25, 1937, in Breckinridge, OK, to Charles and Alma Thielin Lavicky and passed away at her home early Friday, October 29, 2021. Louise graduated from Enid High School in 1955. She married James L. Coleman on July 17, 1955, in Enid.
Louise was known for her wonderful Seamstress work. She made a lot of Cheerleading uniforms and dresses for lots of young ladies. She also worked as the town clerk for North Enid for 20 years. Louise was a member of Bible Baptist Church for 56 years, member of North Enid Lioness Club and later a member of North Enid Lions Club.
Louise is survived by her husband Jim of the home; her four sons, Jim and Liz Coleman, Jeff and Kim Coleman, Jerry and Debbie Coleman, and John Coleman; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; siblings, Charlie and Helga Lavicky, Louis and Stella Lavicky, Betty Chodrick, Pat and Larry Bixler, Nancy and Butch Buchholz, Harvey Lavicky, Vernie Lavicky, Julie and Charlie Cagle, David and Suzanne Lavicky; and several other family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters Frances, Lydia, and Rose.
Memorials may be made to Bible Baptist Church or OMRF - Alzheimer Division - with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
