A Celebration of Life for Jane Elizabeth Brown, age 80, of Enid, will be 10:00 am, Saturday, September 28, 2024 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church with Pastor Dwayne Schroeder officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home trusted with arrangements.
Jane was born in Blackwell, Oklahoma on October 7, 1943, to Robert D. and Ella Alma (Kern) Bersche, and passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2024 in Enid.
She married Leonard Foy Brown on October 4, 1974. They were married 32 years prior to Leonard's passing in 2006. Jane graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Education. As well as teaching, she was a secretary for Pillsbury for many years. Jane was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church where she participated in the Lutheran Women's Missionary League.
Jane is preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Leonard Brown. She is survived by her brother, Joe Bersche and wife Loretta, of Blackwell, OK, and nephews, Robert (& Pamela) Bersche of Blackwell, Mark (& Wendy) Bersche of Newcastle, and Ken (& Melissa) Bersche of Sealy, Texas. Jane was also blessed with a daughter, Linda Sneed of Sherman TX. Many great-nieces and nephews were the joy of her heart as well 3 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions in Jane's name may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
