Funeral service for Mr. Leo W. Adams was held Tuesday, March 1, 2011, at Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Richard Dunn officiating. Burial was held in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.
Leo was born Dec. 27, 1947, in Perry, Okla., and passed from this life Feb. 26, 2011, in Enid. He grew up in northwest Oklahoma. Leo attended Hennessey High School. He grew up in northwest Oklahoma. Leo attended Hennessey High School. He was an oil field mechanic for 30 years, working for the last seven years of his oil field career in Prudhoe Bay, Alaska. He worked for Northrop as a certified licensed air frame and power plant mechanic until his retirement. He was a member of the Twister Car Club and an avid classic car fan.
Leo is survived by his wife of 45 years, Mrs. Linda Cooper Adams of the home; son, Mr. Randy Adams of Tulsa; and mother-in-law, Mrs. Joanne Cooper "Mom" of Enid.
Memorials can be made in Leo's memory to Horn of Plenty with Brown-Cummings Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
