Diana Laverne Arterbury
January 24, 1947 - December 21, 2024
Celebration of Life Service for Diana Arterbury will be Saturday, December 28, 2024 at 2:00 pm in Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Marilyn Murray officiating. Private family burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Cremation arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory.
Diana was born January 24, 1947 in Enid to Ila Laverne (McDaniel) and Leo Foster and passed away on December 21, 2024 at her home with her family by her side.
She graduated from Waukomis High School in 1965. On February 5, 1990, Diana married Waymon Arterbury in Las Vegas, Nevada and they made their home in Arlington, Texas. She worked for AT&T Corporate office in revenue management. They retired to Enid in 2014. Diana enjoyed cooking, baking and spending time with family. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ila Turney; father, Leo Foster; stepfather, Richard Turney; twin great granddaughters, Emily Ann and A'mia Marie Burton; several aunts and uncles.
Diana is survived by her husband, Waymon; two children, Sherri Ingram and Brad Arterbury; four grandchildren, Chyanna and husband, Cody McFadden, Chanelle Givens, Hunter Arterbury and Holden Arterbury; great grandchildren, Mathias, Zander, Malachi, Gabie, Lathan, CariDee, Colton, Jesaiah, Sicily, and Izzabelle; brother and wife, Bob and Gwen Gibson; sisters and husbands, Glenna and Gary Johnson and Carol and Leland Jaycox; special cousins, Kathy & John Rooks; special friends, Kristina Coats and Adam Starzmann; other relatives and friends.
