Mennonite Brethren Cemetery


Services for Cornelius J. (Cris) Voth, 70, 400 N. 30th, who died Saturday in a local nursing home, will be at 10:30 AM Tuesday in Enid Mennonite Brethren Church with Rev. Waldo Wiebe officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery under the direction of Henninger – Allen Funeral Home.

Born in 1897 at Henderson, Nebraska, he came to Oklahoma with his parents, settling in the Kremlin community. In 1919 he married Anna C Benko. They farmed in the Kremlin area before moving to Enid where he worked for a local automobile agency. Before his retirement, he entered the farm implement business. He was a member of the Mennonite Brethren Church.

Survivors include his wife, Anna, of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Joel (Anna) Toews, Enid; a son, Clayton, Enid; seven grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. J. J. Thesman, Enid; and two brothers, J. A. of Enid and P. H. Of Kremlin. He was preceded in death by a son and grandson.
