A Celebration of Life Service for Randall "Randy" L. Morisse, 61, Grove, formerly of Enid, is 2 p.m. Thursday, April 27, 2017, at the Enid Mennonite Brethren Church, with the Rev. Scott Gassoway and the Rev. Garvie Schmidt officiating. Private burial is before the service in the Mennonite Brethren Cemetery, under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. The family will receive friends 5:30-6:30 p.m. today, April 26, 2017, at the funeral home.
Randy was born Oct. 12, 1955, in Nashville, Kan., to Richard and Barbara Clemmer Morisse, and passed away in St. Francis Hospital, Tulsa, after a brief illness. Randy grew up in Nashville until the ninth grade, when the family moved to Anthony, Kan., where he graduated from Chaparral High School in 1973. He was a police officer in Aline. He worked for Ritter Brothers farming, and in the oil field. He married Iona Cearley on July 10, 1982, in Enid. He was a car salesman in the Tulsa area for several years. In 1998, they purchased the Pond Creek Inn, Pond Creek, for a couple of years. He established Morisse Trucking Company. He was a member of Enid Mennonite Brethren Church, where he sang in the choir praise team. In 2014, they moved to Grove, where they attended First Baptist Church. He was an avid Oklahoma State Cowboys fan.
Randy is survived by his wife, Iona; children, Jeromy of Grove, Ashley of Fort Worth, Texas, and Jacob and his wife Kadi of Oklahoma City; grandchildren, Kayla, Quinton, Xaiver, and great-granddaughter, Ava Rose; sisters, Janet Delanty and husband Terry of Wichita, Kan.; and Sandy Tope of Wichita, Kan., and several other family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorials may be made to Enid Mennonite Brethren Church - Stacy Kuhn's Mission Fund, with Ladusau-Evans serving as custodians of the funds.

In honor of Randy, the family requests that everyone wear something OSU Cowboys to the service.
