A Private Family Burial for Roger Dean Janzen, age 78, of Independence, KS formerly of Enid, will be 11:00 am Saturday, May 9, 2020, at Enid Mennonite Brethren Cemetery with Asher Griffin officiating under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Roger was born April 16, 1942, Enid, OK to Dan and Anna Janzen and passed away May 1, 2020. Roger graduated from Oklahoma Bible Academy in Enid, 1960. After attending Tabor College, Roger married Edna Friesen in Garden City, Kansas, May 22, 1964. For a time, Roger was sales manager at Janzen Oldsmobile in Enid. For most of his career, Roger owned Janzen Farms, LLC, Independence.
Roger is survived by his wife, Edna, of nearly 56 years, his daughters Kristin (Eric) Wiebe, Julie (Tyce) LaQuey, and son David (Karen) Janzen.
