Celebration of Life service for Marie V. Heinrichs, 89, of Enid, Okla., will be 10 a.m. Friday, April 24, 2015, at Ladusau-Evans Chapel, with the Rev. Ted Kuschel officiating. Burial will follow at Enid Mennonite Brethren Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Marie was born May 3, 1925, in Henderson, Neb., to John and Helen Pankratz Siemens and went to her heavenly home early Monday, April 20, 2015, while she was a resident at Golden Oaks Nursing Home.
She married David Heinrichs on Sept. 12, 1943, in Enid. He passed away Sept. 7, 1985.
She moved to Enid in 1941, from Fairview.
Marie became a member of Enid Mennonite Brethren Church and later became a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children, Marilyn Knaak and husband Richard of Enid, Len Heinrichs of Tulsa, and Connie Rose of Edmond; grandchildren, Tina and Don Lavicky, Sarah and Jeremy Sells, Matt and Kira Rose, Melissa Rose and Jason Heath; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Lily and Marvin Kroeker; and brother, Nick and Jean Siemens.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, John and Jim Siemens; and two sisters, Rose Sawatzky and Helen Ediger.
Memorials may be made to Emmanuel Baptist Church, with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
