The funeral for Esther Leona Franz Heinrichs, 90, will be 2 p.m. Saturday, April 4, 2009, at Enid Mennonite Brethren Church. The Rev. Garvie Schmidt will officiate. Burial will be in Enid Mennonite Brethren Cemetery. Arrangements are by Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
She was born June 27, 1918, in Buhler, Kan., to Henry and Lizzy Rempel Franz and died Wednesday, April 1, 2009, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center. She moved with her family to Corn as a child. She attended Corn Bible Academy and Corn High School.
She married Henry Heinrichs. They moved to Enid, where she was a homemaker and sold Home Interior products. She attended Enid Mennonite Brethren Church.
Surviving are five children, Ron Heinrichs of Hot Springs Village, Ark., LaVida Martens of Tulsa, Jodie Marriott of Okmulgee, Carla Heinrichs of Watauga, Texas; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband and one infant son.
