Mennonite Brethren Cemetery


Funeral services for John G. Ediger, age 64, of route 4 will be conducted at 10 AM Monday in the Enid Mennonite Brethren Church with the Rev. David Plettet and the Rev. Lynford Becker officiating. Burial will follow in the Mennonite Brethren Church Cemetery under the direction of the Ladusau – Evans Funeral Home.

Mr. Ediger died in a local hospital Friday morning following a period of ill health. He was born December 9, 1919 Northeast of Enid and has lived his entire life in Garfield County where he farmed. He moved to his present home north of Enid in 1965. He married the former Helen Siemens on December 15, 1940. He is a member of the Mennonite Brethren Church.

He is survived by his wife, Helen; a daughter, Judith A. Saifnia and her husband, Fred of Little Rock, Arkansas; a son, Gerald D. Edigerr and his sife, Catherine of Tulsa; a granddaughter, Roxanne; a Sister, Mrs. Abe (Bertha) Buller of Enid; two brothers, Dan Ediger and Dave Ediger, both of Enid.

Memorials in his name may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Enid Mennonite Brethren Church for Choir Robes. The funeral home and church will serve as custodians of the fund.

Friends may call at the funeral home until 8:30 AM Monday. The casket will be open at the church from 9 AM until service time.
