Mennonite Brethren Cemetery


Funeral services for Virgie Voth will be held 11:00am, Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at First Baptist Church of Enid, with Pastor Patrick Dezort officiating. Burial will follow in Enid Mennonite Brethren Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. Visitation will be 6-7pm, Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at the funeral home.

Virgie was born June 2, 1932 in Curtis, Oklahoma to Louie and Hazel Dezort, and passed away September 18, 2022 in Enid. She was raised in the Mooreland area and graduated from Mooreland High School in 1950. Virgie graduated from St. Anthony's Nursing School in 1953. She spent the majority of her career working at St. Mary's Hospital in Enid. Virgie married Ernie Voth, November 23, 1956 in Mooreland. They lived in the Kremlin community until she moved to the Golden Oaks community. Virgie was very involved in her church activities since 1955. Her greatest love was spending time with her family, and praying for them without ceasing.

Virgie is survived by her children, Tom Voth and wife Diane of Lago Vista, Texas, Susan Kilmer and husband Bill of Edmond, Oklahoma, and Karen Lemley and her husband John of Stillwater, Oklahoma; grandchildren, John Voth and wife Grace of Spring, Texas, Vanessa Voth Foster and husband Kevin of Spring, Texas, Lauren Kilmer Mays and husband J of Edmond, Oklahoma, Jordan Kilmer and wife April of Fullerton, California, Kalli Kilmer of Golden, Colorado, Kassidy Lemley Twyford and husband Cameron, of Edmond, Oklahoma, and Bethany Lemley and fiance Chris Cook of Bentonville, Arkansas; great grandchildren, Henry and Madi Voth, James and Emily Foster, Remy, Noelle and Charlotte Mays, Jacorey Kilmer, Graham, Welles, Etta, and Vaughn Twyford; siblings, Grace Sharp and Norman (Stub) Dezort.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ernie Voth; parents, Louie and Hazel Dezort; sister, Etta Dezort; and brothers, Arthur and Ralph Dezort.

Memorial may be made to First Baptist Church of Enid Mission Fund with Ladusau-Evans serving as custodian of the funds.
