William A. Richey of Kremlin, 72, died late Monday of an apparent heart attack. His funeral services will be at 2 PM Thursday in the First United Methodist Church of Kremlin with the Rev. John F. Whittington officiating. Burial will be in the Kremlin Cemetery.
The Henninger – Allen Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. It is the family's request that those who wish contribute to a fund that has been established in Richey's memory at the First United Methodist Church of Kremlin. The church and the funeral home were serve as custodians of the fund.
Richey and Mary Taylor of Jefferson were married in Guthrie on February 10, 1927, and she survives. Also surviving are three sons, John Richey of Wichita, Kansas, Robert Richey of Ponca City and Eldon Richey, Enid; a daughter Donna of the home; five grandchildren; a brother, Robert Richey of Flagstaff, Arizona; three sisters, Mrs. Theodore (Rosie) Wills of Enid, Mrs. Gilbert (Minnie) Steele of Kremlin and Mrs. Homer (Florence) Stouffer of Lebanon, Pennsylvania.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Mrs. Lela Payne in 1970.
