FORMER RESIDENT DIES
The funeral of Clint F. Clark was held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon. The funeral sermon was delivered by Rev. D.L. Edwards, the services being held at the chapel of the Henninger Royer Undertaking parlors. Burial was made in the Imo cemetery, three miles northeast of Drummond, where the near relatives of Mr. Clark are buried.
Among the relatives who attended the funeral were a sister and two children, a nephew, Richard Castle, all of Chetopa, Kans., and his daughter, Mrs. Fuller, of Kansas City, Mo.
Mr. Clark, who was known far and wide as a veteran Frisco railroader and peace officer, died early Friday morning at St. Mary's hospital in Kansas City, following an operation for appendicitis, from which he had suffered an attack while spending the holidays there with his daughter, Mrs. W.J. Fuller.
Leaving Enid about two years ago after spending many years as a Frisco conductor, Mr. Clark was given a position as yard superintendent at Blackwell.
Many years ago Mr. Clark served as city marshal of Enid and later as deputy sheriff.
Mr. Clark was a member of several fraternal organizations including the Enid Masonic bodies which were in charge of the services at the grave.
Mr. Clark was one of the early residents of this community and owned a farm northeast of town at the time of his death.
