Hillsdale Cemetery


ENID — The funeral service for Alice M. Howard, 69, will be 2 p.m. today, July 8, 2010, at Hillsdale Bible Church. Rev. Mike Kelly will officiate. Burial will be in Hillsdale Cemetery , Hillsdale , Okla. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Alice Marie Montgomery was born Dec. 30, 1940, to Luke and Rosaline Montgomery in Wichita, Kan., and died Tuesday, July 6, 2010.

She was reared on a farm west of Hawley. She started first grade at Gore until Gore closed and transferred to Nash. She graduated in 1959 from Nash High School.

She married Gehyman Lee Howard Sept. 5, 1959, in Wichita, Kan. She was a member of Hillsdale Bible Church and Hillsdale Booster Club.

Survivors include her husband, Lee; sons, Paul Howard, David Howard and wife Jean of Canton, Okla., Luke Howard and wife Pam of Hillsdale , Okla.; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
