Funeral service for William Andrew "Bill" Estes, 95 of Enid, will be 2:00 PM Thursday, February 10, 2022 at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dwayne Schroeder officiating. Burial will follow in Hayward Cemetery.

Bill was born October 27, 1926 in Edmond, Oklahoma to William Andrew, and Ethel Lavern (Kyker) Estes and passed away on Friday, February 4, 2022 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

He was a veteran of WW II serving in the Merchant Marine. Bill went to work for the Santa Fe Railroad in April 1948 where he had various jobs including a depot agent, and he retired from the railroad after 42 years in 1989. He married Margie Drumm in December of 1948.

He later married Geneva Eckert on September 3, 2005 at Fairmont. They were members of Fairmont Lutheran Church until moving to Enid where they were members of Redeemer Lutheran Church.

Bill was preceded in death by his first wife Margie Ruth Estes, infant daughter, Gayle, son Charles, sister Eleanor Trochta and brother John. He is survived by his wife, Geneva, sons, David and Ron, seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and sister Martha Fields. Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Redeemer Lutheran Church or OMRF Alzheimer Division.
