Frank N. Grother Services Sunday
Garber - Frank N. Grother died early Thursday morning in an Enid hospital following a stroke he suffered March 16.
Funeral services will be at 2:30pm on Sunday in the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Garber.
Rev. Joseph Wong will officiate and burial will be in the Lutheran Cemetery under the direction of the Anderson Funeral Home of Garber.
Grother was born in Spring Valley, Kansas and came to Oklahoma with his parents in 1897, settlig just southwest of Garber.
He lived in this area when he retired and moved into Garber.
On August 10, 1911, he was married to Amelia Meyer and she preceded him in death in 1961.
He is survived by two sons, Eldo of Garber and Edwin of McPherson, Kansas; three sisters, Mrs Emelie Messell of Garber, Mrs Bertha Dickerson and Mrs Elsie Crabtree, both of Evergreen, Colorado; a brother, Ott Grother of Yorktown, Iowa; three grandchildren and one great grandchild.
