Jessie Tine Darby, 104, died Thursday morning in an Enid hospital. Her service will be today at the Abernathy Funeral Home Chapel at Crescent with Rev. Robert Sharp officiating. Burial will be in the North IOOF Cemetery at Marshall.
Mrs. Darby was born July 14, 1874 in Albany, Mo. She came to the Marshall area where she lived most of her life. She married James Oliver Darby March 29, 1891 in Albany, Mo. He died in May of 1954.
Mrs. Darby was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors in clude four sons, Oliver, Moline, Kan. Hugh L. of Covington; Thomas of Yakima, Washington; Harold of Okla, City; One daughter Ella Cline, of Marshall; One brother Dale Best of Vliets, Kan. 23 grandchildren, 71 gr grandchildren and 64 gr gr grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, 4 daughters, 2 brothers and one sister.
