David W. BROWN
The funeral for David Wesley Brown, 47, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Henninger-Allen Funeral Home. Burial will be in the North IOOF Cemetery, North of Marshall.
He was born April 9, 1946 on the family farm four miles North of Marshall to J. Harold and Dorothy Pownell Brown and died Tuesday, Feb. 15, 1994 after a lengthy illness.
On July 14, 1976, he maried Cynthia Harman in Enid.
Surviving are his wife; two sons Jeremy and Joshua of the home; his parents, Harold and Dorothy Brown of Enid; three brothers, Ronald; Jerry; and Daniel.

The funeral for David Wesley Brown, 47, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Henninger-Allen Funeral Home. The Revs. Oscar Cunningham and Lyle J. Buller will officiate. Burial will follow in the North IOOF Cemetery at Marshall.
He was born April 9, 1946, on the family farm four miles north of Marshall to J. Harold and Dorothy L. Pownell Brown and died Tuesday, Feb. 15, 1994, at his home after a lengthy illness. He attended Oklahoma Baptist University, Central State College, earning a bachelor of science degree in 1968. He earned his master of science degree in 1969 at Oklahoma State University while working as a graduate teaching assistant. In later years, he attended Bethany Nazarene College and the University of Wisconsin. He was a member of many honorary and social organizations.
Brown taught three years at Bristow High School, two years at Enid High School, one year at Lahoma High School, three years at Drummond High School, one year at Upper Bucks Christian School in Sellersville, Pa., and two years at Maranatha Baptist Bible College, Watertown, Wisc. During his ministry, he pastored at Penn Avenue Bible Church, Oklahoma City; Union Chapel Church, near Hennessey; Shiloh Christian Union Church, near Delta, Ohio; Parker Chapel Christian Union Church, near Ames; and Victory Bible Church, Enid.
On Juy 14, 1973, he married Cynthia L. Harman in Enid.
Surviving are his wife; two sons, Jeremy and Joshua of the home; his parents, Harold and Dorothy Brown of Enid; and three brothers, Ronald of Madill, Jerry of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Daniel of Tulsa.
Memorials may be made through the funeral hometo Brown Brothers Education Fund or to the Victory Bible Church.
