October 20, 1932 - September 25, 2024
A Graveside Service for Joyce Elaine Cooper, age 91, of Enid, will be 10:00 am Saturday, October 5, 2024 at Marshall North Cemetery, Marshall, Ok, with Reverend Tommy Donaldson officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory.
Joyce was born October 20, 1932 in Enid, Oklahoma to Owen and Mae Snyder, and passed away Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at The Arbors.
She married Eugene "Gene" Cooper in 1950. They lived and worked on the farm north of Marshall until Genes death in 2009. She then moved to Marshall where she resided until moving to the Arbors in Enid in 2018.
Joyce is preceded in death by her parents; husband Eugene Cooper; granddaughter, Bethany Peckham; great-great grandson, Maverick Jackson; and son-in-law, Brad Shelby.
She is survived by her two daughters, Linda Peterburs and husband Mark, of Edmond; Annette Shelby and Randy McDaniel, of Marshall; grandson, Evan Peterburs of Edmond, and great-granddaughter, Hattie Zimmer, of Marshall, OK; and great-great granddaughter, Violet Ayers, of Marshall.
Memorial contributions in Joyce's name may be made to Accentra Hospice with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
