Garber Cemetery


July 27, 1906 - August 16, 1985

Elmer M. Ragoss, age 79, of 1013 Parkway, died in a local hospital Friday, August 16, 1985 following a period of ill health.

He was born July 27, 1906 in Garfield County, and lived most of his life in the Garber Breckinridge community where he farmed. He came to Enid 5 1/2 years ago and has lived here since.

He married Lora Zella Green May 5, 1926, and she preceded him in death April 16, 1980.

He was a member of the Garber Christian church.

He is survived by two daughters: Mrs. Hubert (Vera) Green of El Dorado, Kansas and Mrs. Calvin (Modell) Roever of Enid; six grandchildren and one great – granddaughter; one brother, Walter Ragoss of Breckinridge, Oklahoma.

Funeral services for Mr. Ragoss will be held at 2 PM Monday in the Ladusau-Evans Chapel with Paul Enabnit, minister of the Davis Park Christian Church officiating.

Burial will be in the Garber Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Oklahoma Medical Research, Heart Division, in memory of Mr. Ragoss. The funeral home will serve as custodian of the fund.
