Ronald Dean POWELL

Garber Cemetery


Ronald D. Powell, 75, of Garber, Okla., was the son of Roy Mill and Edith Almita (Rose) Powell. He was born May 9, 1938, in Lucien, Okla., and passed away Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2013, in Enid, Okla. He worked in the oil field for more than 40 years. Ronald’s hobbies included fishing, gardening and spending time with his dog, Junior. Ronald enjoyed visiting with his family and friends. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013, at First Christian Church of Garber, Okla.

Interment will be in Garber Cemetery. Pastor Kelly Cronkhite officiating. Service is under the direction of Dugger Funeral Home, Garber.

Memorials may be made to the SPCA of Enid in care of Dugger Funeral Home, P.O. Box 66, Garber, OK 73738.

Ronald is survived by his son, Randy Powell and wife Cindy of Enid, Okla.; daughter, Rhonda McEachern and husband Kevan of Ringwood, Okla.; sister, Juanita Newman of Texas; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one son, Michael Powell; one daughter, Kimma Sue Powell; his parents, Roy and Edith Powell; and eight brothers and sisters.
