Margaret Ruth Oldham was born to William John (Jack) Oldham and Edith Lucile (Witte) Oldham on Feb. 13, 1945. She passed away May 28, 2020.
Margaret had attended Garber Public Schools, where she graduated from in 1963. She graduated from Oklahoma State University, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in home economics and a Master's degree of Science in food science.
She began her working career in Oklahoma City with Wilson Foods, worked with the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, taught at Rose State College and later worked in home elderly care. She was a member of the Oklahoma Accordion Club and OKC Metro Quilters Guild. Margaret loved cooking, sewing, gardening and all kinds of music.
Margaret is survived by four brothers, John Oldham and Marsha Kay of Garber, David and Lynda, William and Susan, and Robert, all of Enid, and many nieces and nephews.
The family will have a private ceremony at the Garber cemetery in respect of the COVID-19 pandemic threat. Donations in her memory can be directed to The Good Shepherd Hospice, 4350 Will Rogers Parkway Suite 400, Oklahoma City, OK 73108.
