A graveside service of Remembrance and Celebration of Life for Dorthy Ellen Morris, 72, Enid, will be 11 a.m., Friday, Nov. 13, 2015, at Garber Cemetery, with the Rev. Gary Miller officiating. Services are under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.

Dorthy was born Dec. 27, 1942, in Alamo, Texas, the daughter of Hugo and Mildred (France) Morris, and died Nov. 5, 2015.

Dorthy’s mother died when Dorthy was a baby and she was raised by her Uncle Earl and Aunt Alice Goff, who lived in Alice, Texas, for many years before moving to Garber. After Earl and Alice’s passing, Dorthy resided with her brother, Earl and later resided at the Living Center until her death. Dorthy enjoyed spending time with family, especially during holidays. Dorthy was loved by all who knew her and she lived life to the fullest.

Dorthy is survived by two brothers, Earl Morris of Enid, and wife, Beverly; Donald Morris of Frankston, Texas, and wife, Kathy; four sisters, Margaret Woolley of Enid; Joan Vincent of Abbeville, La., and husband, Loison; Betty Alanis of Boerne, Texas; Mary Flowers of Alice, Texas, along with several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her Uncle Earl and Aunt Alice Goff; brothers, Hugo “Sonny” Morris and Donnie Morris and sister, Patricia Sparks.
