Funeral service for Tommie E. Longest Jr., 43, will be 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 2, 2015, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Norris Williams officiating. Burial will be in Garber Cemetery, with arrangements by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.
Tommie was born to Tom Eugene and Linda (Henderson) Longest on July 19, 1971, in Enid, Okla., and passed away Monday, Dec. 29, 2014, in Enid.
Tommie grew up in Garber and graduated from Garber High School.
He worked at Vance Air Force Base for 26 years, where he obtained his AMP license and became an aircraft inspector.
On May 25, 2013, he married Tracie Martin in Ringwood, Okla. They made their home in Enid.
Tommie attended Emmanuel Baptist Church and he loved the open road on his Harley with his friends. He was a loving husband, father, son and brother.
Tommie is survived by his wife, Tracie of the home; son, Dylan Martin of Enid; mother, Linda Longest of Enid; father, Tom Longest and wife Rose of Drummond; brother, Jimmy Longest and wife Tammy of Enid; two nieces, Lindsay and Lily of Garber; stepsister, Tina Wicker of Drummond; and in-laws, Gary Davis and wife Louciel of Enid.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
