A Celebration of Life Service for Eulala "Faye" Johnson, 88, Enid, is 3 p.m. Saturday, April 8, 2017, at Immanuel Lutheran Church of Garber with Pastor Scott Ray officiating. Burial follows in the Garber Cemetery, under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Eulala "Faye" Johnson, 88, passed away April 3, 2017, in Enid. Faye was born on July 20, 1928, in Hoisington Kan. to Laurel Wilson & Ruby Mildred Miner. Faye met the love of her life, L'Roy Johnson, & married on Jan. 22, 1946, at the young age of 17 ½. L'Roy preceded her in death Dec. 4, 2002. From this life together, they were blessed with six devoted children. Faye followed L'Roy through his 29 plus years as he served his country in the Air Force. They lived in Kansas, California, Washington, Texas, Japan, New Mexico, and North Carolina, before returning home to Oklahoma after his retirement. She was active in the Air Force Wife's Club, was a scout leader for both the girl and boy scouts, assisted with Sunday school and VBS throughout the years, was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church of Garber, and active in Lutheran Women's Missionary League, and the Nu-Way Club. Her family was her life, her love, and her career.
Faye is survived by her six children, Trudy Fennewald and husband Marty of Colorado Springs, Colo., Vickie Nichols and husband Pat of Edmond, Dan Johnson and wife Gina of Purcell, Jack Johnson of Denver, Colo., Tim Johnson and wife Jan of Stillwater, Wayne Johnson and wife Marilyn of Enid; eleven grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church - Flower Fund or DVD Ministry, with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodians of the funds.
