Patrick Shawn Huey was born January 23, 1987 in Woodward, Oklahoma to Vickie Lee and Harold R. Huey. He passed away January 20, 2017 at Elk City, Oklahoma at the age of 29 years, 11 months and 27 days.
Shawn grew up in Elk City where he attended school, graduating in 2005. After his father passed away in June of 2005 he moved to Enid and Weatherford until 2010 when he returned to Elk City where he made his home. Shawn found employment with ACE hardware and later with Redman. He enjoyed trivia, playing video games and watching movies.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and paternal grandparents, Homer R. Frances L. Huey and maternal grandmother, Jean Meier.
He is survived by his sister, Shannon Rene Huey, Interlochen, MI; 1 niece, Tatianna Marie Smith, Interlochen, MI; his grandfather, Leroy Meier, Garber, OK; several aunts and uncles and a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be held at a later date in Garber, Oklahoma. Arrangements are under the direction of Whinery-Savage Funeral Service and condolences can be made online at www.whineryfs.com
