Garber Cemetery


ENID, OK — Celebration of Life Service for Joe L. Cramer, 92, of Enid will be 2 p.m. Monday, June 30, 2014, at Ladusau-Evans Chapel, with Rev. Jim Edmison officiating.

Burial will follow in Garber Cemetery under direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Joe was born April 24, 1922, in Garber, Okla., to Joseph and Maggie Faye Matteson Cramer and passed away early Thursday, June 26, 2014, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.

Joe grew up in Garber, where he attended school and helped with the family farm.

He entered into the U.S. Army December 23, 1942, and was honorably discharged February 11, 1946.

Joe returned to Garber, where he worked as a pumper for Sinclair Oil Company for 34 years.

Joe married Jetta Frances Wood in Bella Vista, Ark.

He owned and operated Cramer Pipe and Metal CO in Garber for several years.

Joe is survived by his children, Gary Cramer and wife Anita of Wichita, Kan., Kathy Doyal of Tonkawa, Ola., and Lee Ann Cramer of Rogers, Ark.; five grandchildren, Lisa Stewart, Marla Scott, John Cramer, Laura Murray and Casey Doyal; five great-grandchildren, Brendyn, Kamryn, Cale, Harper, and Miles; and sister Ruth Taylor of Spokane, WA.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Naomi Taylor and brother Bobby Cramer.

Memorials may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodians of funds.

Condolences may be made and, for those unable to attend, the service can be viewed at www.ladusauevans.com.
