Emma Lee Cerny, 79, of Garber, was born to Harold and Jessie Postier in Enid, Oklahoma, on August 26, 1938. She went to be with many members of her family who went before her, on Thursday March 1, 2018, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.
When Emma was 38 years old she decided to go back to school to achieve her R.N. certification while raising a family. Emma worked as a nurse most of her life in Enid at St. Mary's, working as a nurse in the NICU tending to many troubled newborn babies. Emma enjoyed dancing to country and western music with her many 300 Club and Enid Solo Club friends. Known for being a kind and helpful person, Emma committed her career to take care of other people. Emma was not only a caretaker at work, but in her everyday life. She always took care of family and anyone she ran across. She enjoyed the time she got with her family; every year the entire family would get together for about a week for the Postier family reunion and she always looked forward to that.
