ENID — The funeral service for Sylvia Fern Weldon, 89, will be 10 a.m. Monday, November 21, 2011, at Anderson - Burris Funeral Home , with Pastor Danny Marney officiating. Burial will follow in Enid Cemetery.
Sylvia was born to Olif and Flora (Randolph) Kiely on May 10, 1922, in Enid, and passed away Thursday, November 17, 2011, at Greenbrier Nursing Home .
Sylvia attended school in Enid. She married Don H. Weldon in Medford October 1, 1940, and they made their home in Enid. Sylvia was a homemaker and childcare provider. She attended Waukomis Baptist Church. Sylvia was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by four children; Danny (Linda) Weldon, Phillip (Mary Jane) Weldon, Donna Hamilton, and Dennis (Debra) Weldon; eight grandchildren, Toni Anne, Tommy, Toby, Kristi, Julie, Ryan, Michelle and Denise; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Sylvia was preceded in death by her husband, Don, four brothers and five sisters.
