A graveside service for Aaron Newton Vinson Jr., 45, of Drummond, will be 3 p.m. Friday in Enid Cemetery. The Rev. John Jamieson will officiate. Arrangements are by Henninger-Allen Funeral Home. Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
He was born Jan. 3, 1962, in Wetumpka, Ala., to Aaron and Emma O. Todd Vinson and died Sunday, June 10, 2007, at Integris Bass Baptist Health Center.
He moved to Enid in 1978 where he worked for G&C; Metal for 17 years. He then worked for Ted Shepard Fabrications and the last three years with Garfield Equipment.
Surviving are his companion, Sally Taylor, of the home; one stepson, Richard Strahan; one brother, Dick Valentine of Moore; one sister, Sylvia Ward of Rockford, Ala.; and one stepgrandson.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
