Funeral services for C. Frank Underkoffler, 85, 315 N. 11th, have been set for 10 AM Wednesday in the Bethany United Methodist Church with the Rev. Justus H. Edmondson officiating. Burial will be in the Enid Cemetery under the direction of Henninger – Allen Funeral Home.
The body will lie in state at the church from 9 AM until service time. Those who wish may make contributions to the church building fund.
Underkoffler died at his home early Monday morning following a period of ill health.
He came to Enid in 1912 and has lived here since. Underkoffler married the former Ida Hameyer, and she preceded him in death on April 16, 1968.
He was a retired postal employee and had been employed for 36 years.
He was the only remaining charter member of the Bethany United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Cecil (Arlene) Brinson, Colorado Springs, Colorado; a granddaughter, Miss LoLeta Brinson, Colorado Springs, Colorado; two grandsons, Jerry Vincent, Shawnee Mission, Kansas, and James Brinson, stationed in Vietnam; also two great – grandchildren.
